-- Clarence opened Shaffer's Health Center circa 1950's in the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmer's Market, He was considered a pioneer in the Health Food industry. His interest in nutrition along with his background in the drug industry contributed to his passion to offer alternative health choices.
Owner Tom Crowe
-- I became store manager in 1973 and eventually the owner when my dad retired in 1982.
